Music In Our Lives

Music plays such an important role in our lives no matter who we are or what we listen to.  Music dates back to beginning of time and has been integrated into every culture.  Music is a way to release stress and appreciate the talents of others.

Why do we prefer different kinds of music?  Who knows?  I myself can stand almost any kind of music (that includes some county music).  As long as the music we listen to makes us happy, that's all that matters.  What kind of music do you listen to?

Spanish is such a great language.  Makes me hate English just a little bit more.

I am Extremely Tired

No serious blog today because I have way too many assignments I need to complete.  I also need to catch up in one of my new classes.  Posting just to update daily.  I'll make it someday.

Never Forget: Today is 9/11

On September 11, 2001, a devastating event occurred in the United States.  Through the work of terrorists, America was attacked brutally and unexpectedly resulting in the loss of thousands of innocent lives.  Families were broken, emotions were uncontrollable, and grief burdened the hearts of citizens of the United States.

Today we remember the sorrowful event as a moment to reflect on our lives and the gift of life.  We are all still alive for a reason.  We may not be able to bring back the ones we love, but we can continue to support those who need love.  The gift of life is always taken for granted.  I myself struggle to appreciate the gift I have been give to live an extra day.  Don't let these opportunities slip away.  Help someone today, tomorrow, and for the rest of your lives.

I have made mistakes in my life that I regret and I still have more to come.  No one is perfect and we need to accept that.  Mistakes can be fixed, but we must have an open heart in order to start by helping ourselves.  Enjoy the life you have today and spend time with others.  There is never a bad time to just enjoy life!

A picture of the reconstruction of the Twin Towers.  Now called the "One World Trade Center," I was able to take this picture about a month ago while I stayed in New York.

My First Day of Blogging - The School Days

School has been going on for a few weeks now and I'm extremely exhausted.  Days are getting longer, homework is getting harder (that's what she said), and life has no regard for feelings. Why can't life be easy?  Why do we have to suffer?  There are so many questions to ask without any answers.
Life right now is great for me.  Sure I may be a little tired, but everything seems alright. Not everything can go according to plan so it's my choice to decide what's best for me.  I want push through this year and have no regrets.  Let's brace ourselves for the coming school year and stop procrastinating!
